This is a very simple recipe that makes a delicious loaf of bread. Originally called Beer Bread, I found out that any carbonated beverage (I've never had the guts to try juice) can be used as a substitute. Here's what you need:
3 cups of Self-Rising flour
3 tablespoons of granulated sugar
1 12. oz can/bottle of your favorite beverage
5 minutes of free time
Mix all the ingredients together. Abandon all cookware and just use your hands, this stuff is sticky! Once the mix has reached a uniform consistency and color, pour into a greased regular bread pan (9.5"x5"x2.5" is the most common size, but whatever you have works).
Heat the oven to 375 F or 190 C for 99% of the world. Throw it in for an hour.
*It will go stale in 24 hours so enjoy it ASAP
The color of the mixture will depend upon what beverage you use.
A slightly burnt top crust means it's ready. Yum!
